ABOUT ME

Hello, I’m Aisling! I’ve been working as a boxing instructor for over 9 years now, but my passion for coaching started a long time ago. In school and college I struggled with structured learning, frustrated that my creative approach did not fit inside the box. I started boxing for the physical and mental challenge, but fought against the “do as you’re told” approach. I wanted to understand the sweet science, and so I broke down the elements in my head to make pieces of a puzzle. Now I teach others those pieces, including the physical training, the science, and the mental angles.

My amateur boxing career includes about 50 fights, 4 Chicago Golden Glove Championships and 1 North Carolina Golden Gloves Championship, as well as numerous national tournaments. I lost to some of the best in the country, but in the process won valuable lessons about the sport and myself. My fitness certifications, listed below, and self education and exploration helps to add more pieces to give my clients for their own journey.

ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Aisling, a boxing instructor with over 10 years of experience. My love for coaching started early, though my path wasn't always straightforward. Throughout my life I struggled with rigid learning styles and felt my creative approach didn't fit the mold. Boxing offered a physical and mental challenge, but I initially clashed with the "do as you're told" approach.

Determined to master the "sweet science," I broke down its elements into digestible pieces, turning it into a puzzle I could solve. Now, I share those pieces with my clients, teaching not only the physical training but also the science and mental strategies behind boxing.

Yes, absolutely! Boxing is a great way to improve coordination and get in shape, regardless of your starting point. I design programs to meet you at your conditioning level and comfort.
